Kāsiga is proud of its state-of-the-art kitchens and dining hall. The catering department, with the expert guidance of a qualified nutritionist ensures that the students and faculty have a well-balanced diet of vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian, Chinese, Continental and Thai food. The elaborate menu is changed regularly in consultation with the Mess Committee members consisting of staff and students. The ingredients of each meal of the daily menu are carefully combined to form wholesome meals which are not only delicious but complete in nutrition for growing children. Special meals are provided on special days. Further, every festival is celebrated with a special menu for that day, with its delicacies.

Members of staff eat with the students to ensure that children develop correct eating habits; to see that children eat enough of the right food to keep them healthy and fit while also getting to know the students better, in a different  and informal setting
