GRADUATION DAY CELEBRATED AT KASIGA SCHOOL

On 18th February 2017 the staff and students of Kasiga School bid adieu to the outgoing batch of class 12 CBSE and A level Cambridge students. In a solemn ceremony witnessed by Chairman, Mr. Ramesh Batta and Mrs. Poonam Batta along with Mr. Siddharth Batta, Director Finance and Mrs. Chandi Batta, Director Welfare, the Head of School, Dr. Neeta Bali felicitated the students. Mr. Amitabh Srivastava graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He has worked with some of the top most media brands like Times TV / MTV / BBC / TV Today / Walt Disney over the past 18 years in senior management cadre. He has been associated with TV and cable and satellite industry and has handled ground Distribution system for several broadcasters in India and Asia. Presently he is the director of I Media International. 
The symbolic and poignant ‘Passing of the Light or Lamp of Knowledge’prepares each one of the graduating class to face the challenges of the future; this ceremony was observed with heart-felt sincerity.
In the speeches made by the Head Boy, Saiyyam Agarwal, the Head Girl, Aditi Aryal and the Academic Prefect, Muskan Shrestha, they shared how significant the memories of Kasiga were to them. They reminisced about the metamorphosis they have undergone in Kasiga, from being bashful little children to resolute and confident individuals.
The prayer song ‘In His Time’ and ‘This Little Guiding Light of Mine’ sung by the choir, reminded each one of us how precious young lives are and it is our duty to guarantee that the flame of life and knowledge burns brighter every day.
The speech delivered by the Head of School was inspirational and her words will be indelibly imprinted in the hearts of the young graduates. The chief guest in his speech, stressed on the importance of being confident, innovative and different. He also emphasized that it was imperative for the students to return to their homeland after they have completed their education. 
After a mouthwatering high Tea it was time for the less formal part of the ceremony- the Farewell Party organised by class XI for their seniors. The fun and games were greatly appreciated and everyone had a rollicking time dancing and making merry. The coveted Ms. Kasiga award went to Vagmita Swaroop and Mr. Kasiga was bagged by Jujhar Bhatti.
